#2049 new defect

Events which trigger based on GC-100 sensors fire twice

Description

I have a GC-100 (firmware version 3.2-12) which is was discovered via PNP.

I have a button attached to module 4 sensor 1 on the GC-100 and a respond-to event (type="a sensor is tripped") which fires when Tripped = 1

When the button is depressed, the event fires twice. I've confirmed this is not a switch bounce issue.

The GC-100 device log indicates that the GC-100 reports two consecutive changes of state to state=1 with no change to state 0 in-between.

When the button is released, a double state change to state=0 also occurs. Sample gc-100 device log here: http://pastebin.com/tgLEe4k1

I am running 10.04 which hasn't been upgraded since Feb 6, 2013, however I see nothing in SVN since then that seems to relate to this.

  • Priority changed from normal to major
  • Version changed from 1004 to 1204

I believe that many events are firing twice. When I launch scripts in response to an event it will always launch 2 copies of the script.
